INDIVIDUAL AND COUPLES THERAPY

CONGRATULATIONS ON TAKING A STEP TOWARDS MAKING CHANGES IN YOUR RELATIONSHIP AND YOUR LIFE!

It's no mystery that sex, dating, and relationships can get very challenging. Perhaps in your marriage you fight more than you get along. Maybe you stopped seeing the positives in your partner and only see the negatives. Sometimes parenting drives a wedge in your marriage, and resentments build. The nature of relationships is to move from harmony to disharmony and back to harmony, However, what most relationships don’t know how to do is the repair work that follows. The repair allows for a couple to feel like they are standing on their own two feet while also building connection between each other. This work can be done both as a couple and in individual sessions.

Couples therapy and sex therapy are essential components of individual and couples therapy that can provide numerous benefits. Couples therapy focuses on improving communication and resolving conflicts within the relationship. It helps strengthen the emotional connection between partners, promoting greater understanding and empathy. Additionally, couples therapy assists in enhancing intimacy and deepening the bond, ultimately leading to a more fulfilling relationship. On the other hand, sex therapy addresses sexual issues within the relationship, such as low libido, erectile dysfunction, or even mismatched desires. It facilitates open and honest discussions about sexual needs, improving sexual communication and satisfaction for both partners. Combining couples therapy and sex therapy can lead to overall psychological and sexual wellness for individuals and couples alike.

Reconnect With Your Passions And Deepen Your Connection

Couples and Sex Therapy can allow you to meet your emotional and physical needs by helping you explore new areas and desires, as well as creating a space for you to discuss topics you might be uncomfortable discussing with your partner.

You may find that reigniting passion and exploring fantasies can help you connect on a deeper level or simply provide a fun and new way to experience intimacy. Whether work, kids, time, or simply life has gotten in the way, it is entirely natural to find yourself disconnected from your partner at some point in your relationship. You may even find yourselves incredibly connected but not quite aligned in the bedroom.

 Therapy for Couples & Individuals

I am here for you. Just ask anyone that knows me. I am fully invested in helping you, and your relationship get back on track. You will feel that I care about each of you, but I am also not afraid to take some risks to make sure you or your relationship is moving in a positive direction.

Your first meeting with me will consist of finding the deepest reasons behind how you or your partner feels.

The first step to solving the problem is uncovering the source of the problem. Continued therapy will set you and your partner back on the path of connection or perhaps decide to separate.

"For erotically intelligent couples, love is a vessel that contains both security and adventure, and commitment offers one of the great luxuries of life: time. Marriage is not the end of romance. It is the beginning. They know that they have years in which to deepen their connection, to experiment, to regress, and even to fail. They see their relationship as something alive and ongoing, not a fait accompli. It's a story that they are writing together, one with many chapters, and neither partner knows how it will end. There's always a place they haven't gone yet, always something about the other still to be discovered." -Esther Perel

Sex And Couples Counseling FAQ

What Is Sex And Couples Counseling?

Sexuality is a normal part of the human experience, and yet it is often shrouded in secrecy and taboo. This can make it difficult for people to talk about their sexual concerns and get the help they need. Sex therapy is a specialized form of psychotherapy and coaching that addresses sexual issues.

Sex therapists and sex coaches work with clients on a wide range of concerns, from low sexual desire to difficulties with orgasm. We also help clients explore their sexual identity and preferences. By providing a safe and supportive space to talk about sex, our coaches and counselors can help people overcome their challenges and improve their sexual relationships.

Is A Sex And Couples Counselor and Coach The Same As A Regular Therapist?

Sexuality is a complex and sensitive topic, and it can be challenging to talk about sexual issues with a therapist who is not trained in this area. Sex and couples coaches and counselors are specifically trained to deal with sexual problems, and they are able to provide patients with the knowledge and tools they need to overcome these challenges.

In addition, sex and couples coaches and counselors can often offer more nuanced and sophisticated advice than general therapists, as they have a deeper understanding of human sexuality. While we receive the same training as a regular therapist, sex and couples counselors receive additional training to help you address these issues in a safe and effective manner.
